Physicians

Jordan Harris, MD

Dr. Harris grew up in Idaho falls, Idaho. His journey took him to University of Michigan for medical school and then Johns Hopkins University for residency. After deciding they wanted to be closer to family and be close to a larger metro area without living in one, Corvallis was the perfect fit. Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with his family including his two young children and they enjoy spending the spring, summer, and fall picking berries, peaches, cherries, all over the willamette valley. The proximity to the Oregon coast and short distance to get into the mountains offers him everything he wants.

Dr. Nakajima grew up in Bend, Oregon. She went to Oregon State University right here in Corvallis. She later went to Western University of Health Sciences-COMP-NW in Lebanon for medical school and then University of Arizona in Tucson for residency. After residency, she did fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Following her training, she returned to the PNW and joined our team. On her free time, Dr. Nakajima enjoys walking and hiking with her dog, woodworking projects, camping, and traveling.

Natalia Nakajima, DO

Abbe Montgomery, MD

Dr. Montgomery is originally from the Philadelphia area. She went to MCP-Hahnemann for medical school and Maricopa medical center in Phoenix, Arizona for residency. After working for some time back on the east coast, she decided to try out working on the west coast and found the team-based culture to be a better fit so she stayed in Oregon to continue practicing. When she is not working, Dr. Montgomery enjoys trail running with her 3 daughters and her dogs, mountain biking, paddle boarding, floating the river and skiing.  Her favorite thing about the valley is that the coast and mountains are so close and her backyard gives her access to a variety of forest trails to run on.

Physicians

Robert Schweiss, DO

Dr. Schweiss hails from Louisville, KY. His recreational interests align with the lifestyle of the Willamette Valley since some of his interests include mountain biking, skiing, and backpacking. Before moving to Oregon, he did spend time in Nevada while attending Touro University and then residency training at St. Mary Mercy hospital in Livonia, MI.

Heather Stuart, MD

Dr. Stuart was raised in the Bay Area in California. She went to St. George’s School of Medicine for medical school and Wright State in Dayton, OH for residency. She was called back to the west coast after residency to be closer to friends and family. She was also drawn to the endless outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, skiing, and biking. She thinks we have the best of both worlds since we are in very close proximity to both the ocean and the mountains, sometimes it’s hard to choose!
